Design Risk Assessment
When most golf clubs were designed there was little, if any safety guidance or legislation.
Currently there are published safety guidelines which can be used to audit a golf course to ensure reasonably safe conditions.
This involves an understanding of the course layout, the topography and the hazards.
A course audit identifies the risks generated by the design of the course.
Since there are often situations where courses change it is important that Design Risk Assessments are reviewed regularly.
